Hello everyone,
I’m Truong Nguyen, a fashion model with experience in both Canada and Vietnam. Since I was 14, I’ve dreamed of walking global runways. In 2019, I dove into Toronto’s fashion scene, and over the past five years, I’ve grown tremendously—both professionally and personally.
In 2023, I joined Markham Talent with a clear goal: to reach new heights. Winning the title of Model Champion was a milestone that reflected my journey of dedication and hard work. Markham Talent gave me not just recognition, but a platform to inspire others to pursue their dreams—regardless of gender or background.

Meet Nanami Li
Hi, I’m Nanamie Li, a 16-year-old student at Etobicoke School of the Arts. Last year, I had the amazing experience of winning the Age 16 and under Overall Grand Champion at the Markham Talent Open Casting Call. From the warm welcome to the professional feedback, everything about the event was exceptional.
It was an inspiring space for performers of all kinds to grow and connect. The judges were encouraging and insightful, and I even made new friends during the event. I’m truly grateful to have been part of it and highly recommend it to anyone passionate about the arts!

Entering the 2023 Markham Talent Open-Casting Call was such a life changing experience. I never really had the confidence to go up on stage and sing, but being apart of this was such an amazing experience that I will never forget. If it wasn’t for Councillor Amanda Collucci and my wonderful agent, I don’t think that I would have the opportunities that I’ve been exposed to now.
This experience allowed me to become the SingerSongwriter that I am today and I am forever grateful to have been apart of this. Thank you to everyone for believing in their talent and for encouraging all of them - myself included - to go for their dreams.
